STRIPED BASS ... A SUSTAINABLE CHOICE!

 

Seacore is featuring a truly nice tasting fish in the Striped Bass this week.  Farmed inland in Texas, the Striped Bass is a hybrid of a Mediterranean sea bass and a freshwater white bass.  Also known as Sunshine Bass or Stripes, the Striped Bass is a very mild, pleasant sweet tasting, white flaky meat that will be a true centre of the plate option.  It arrives at Seacore in the whole form and our expert cutters inspect it and fillet it to order making it part of our HOUSECUT® Certified program.  If you haven't yet tried it, make sure to put it on your menu this week or in your fresh fish counter!
