Icelandic Cod
Seacore is proud to offer to our customers a high quality Atlantic Cod caught from the waters near Iceland. We fly the Cod in at minimum 3 times a week direct in to Toronto from the fishermen. In the above picture, we have the fisherman Ingólfur who has been fishing for over 34 years in the fishery. We're told he is as strong as a fisherman gets and at 6 foot 4 inches and 260 lbs, that's a good thing as the fish he is holding is over 34 pounds! Now that's a cod! Ingólfur carries the same name as the Norwegian man who found Iceland way back in the year 874.
The Icelandic Cod is available in 16oz & up fillets on a regular basis. We also special order whole cod caught as is or straight cut portionsfor any customers interested in that.
