INTRODUCING STONE BASS:
A GREAT TASTING FISH FROM THE MEDITERRANEAN

Seacore is proud to offer to our customers a new fish farm raised in the pristine waters of the Mediterranean in Greece called Stone Bass.  The Stone Bass may look like a typical European Bass but it is actually quite different.  The whole fish are fairly large at 6 to 9 lbs each which yield fillets of 1.5 to 2 LBS in size.  The meat is a pinkish, white colour and is almost a cross between a European Sea Bass and a traditional Florida Grouper or Corvina.  The result is a mild tasting, very moist, excellent texture fillet which would add lot's of value to your menu offering or seafood counter.  The Stone Bass is also known as Meagre, Shadefish or Croaker.  Looking for something new, try it out today and you won't be disappointed!
