Striped Bass from Texas!

Seacore is proud to offer on election day a true American delight (we think our neighbours down south need all the support they can get today). The Fresh Striped Bass is cultured in a land based farm in Texas.  It comes in whole and we fillet it custom to order - once you order the fish, one of our expert cutters will fillet it for your order.  The Striped Bass is also known as the Sunshine Bass or Stripers and is actually a hybrid bass between the marine striped bass and the freshwater white bass.  It is farm raised in a sustainable manner and is both Ocean Wise Recommended and Green SeaChoice ranked. Makes a great dish on any menu or a superb offering in any fresh fish counter.  If you've never tried it, the centre-of-the-plate profile is a mild, sweet tasting fillet that grills or bakes very well.  Once cooked it has a very nice bright white, moderately firm and flaky flesh.
