Also known as Sunshine Bass, Stripers or Hybrid Bass, it is a cross between a marine striped bass and a freshwater white bass resulting in the best characteristics of both species. The silver, greenish-white skin with it's distinctive black horizontal stripes makes for a mild, delicate taste that is slightly sweet. The meat is flaky white and moderately firm.
